    Zilverline

Zilverline is another nice use of Jakarta Lucene which we have used very successfully in a couple of projects. It allows you to re-think projects so that some that would have used a dbms simply to allow for indexed searching now use Lucene instead. Of course there are lots of other uses as well but this one appeals greatly as a way of making your own document directories more accessible.
